                                                                       BAHAMAS REFLECTIONS

We again travelled to Grand Bahama Island in February, APril, July and October, 2017.  We enjoyed stays at  "Taino Beach Resort" and "Island Seas Resort," with beautiful beaches on the south and west side of the Island.

At Island Seas Resort, you may utilize the free transportation by mini-bus daily from 9:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. to Port Lucaya, and/or two free mini bus stops at the large grocery store to stock your units.

In addition, the "Water Taxi" from "Taino Beach Resort" to Port Lucaya eliminates the need for Taxi's to Port Lucaya and the Grand Lucayan and Grand Bahama Memories Resort, and Treasure Key Casino, as it runs every 1/2 hour from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. daily, and the Port Lucaya area is "hopping" with activity, as shows three (3) nights a week at the Gazebo in the Common Area and at least twenty (20) theme restaurants, pubs and grills in walking distance at Port Lucaya.  There is shopping galore for "duty free," watches, perfume, cologne, handbags, leather, and European influenced treasures and "Island Delights."

Again, we would recommend for families, the Wyndham-Club Fortuna, All-Inclusive, and/or Island Seas Resort/Taino Beach Condo Resorts.  For those who absolutely want first class, at a first class price, Lighthouse Pointe at Lucaya Beach (AI), as they are top of the line at Lucaya Beach, with every possible amenity, and golf privileges at The Reef Golf Court, which is walking distance from the hotels.

Freeport/Lucaya is finally coming back from the recession, 90% of the activity and growth is in the Lucaya Area and the Port area.  If you haven't been back in the last 7-10 years, well worth the trip for 4-7 days.

I recently travelled to Nassau, Bahamas over the Martin Luther King holiday weekend, January 15 to January 20, 2016, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sandy Shores Timeshare Resort Community, on Cable Beach.  The growth and development on the island was truly astounding, as the Capital City has really put on its best face in the past 50 years.  They have cleaned up the Downtown area on Bay Street dramatically, enhanced the traditional Straw Market and Cruise Ship Area with new buildings and attractions, and the additonal number of hotel rooms, properties, condominium resorts, and destination choices was truly unbelievable, as I had not vacationed there for approximately 25 years.  I would now recommend this as a great, easily accessed destination!

We recently travelled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, March, 2016, and had a wonderful trip.  We stayed at the Buganvillas Resort near downtown on Bay of Banderas.  The downtown area has been cleaned up dramatically, with many fine dining spots, and $2.00 Margaritas nightly f rom 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.  It's worth a trip if you haven't been there in the past ten (10) years.

                                                                            ARUBA REFLECTION

We travelled to Aruba, January, 2015, and it was super, and "The Holiday Inn Resort Experience," exceeded all expectations.  The property, although an older midrise, was beautifully updated, in immaculant condition, clean, bright, and the beach and pool areas were wonderfull.  The resort had every imaginable water sport available beachside on the property.  The property is strategically located across the street from Three Grand Shopping and Restaurant Plaza's, on the strip, that have gala entertainment nightly, as well as shopping, dining and cinema.  I/we would truly recommend this beautifulHoliday Inn Resort property on Palm Beach in Aruba, to all Target Travel Adventure members, family and friends in the future.

We had such a good time, that in December, 2015, we returned to Playa Linda Resort in December, 2016, located between Hyatt Regency and Holiday Inn Resorts on Palm Beach.  We enjoyed another wonderful R.C.I. timeshare exchange vacation.  We were assigned a two bedroom suite with full kitchen, dining room, 2 bathrooms and veranda on the 5th floor overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea.  Definitely our #1 location for relaxation and sunshine!
